The Barbados-based Chronic Disease Research Centre, CDRC, a division of the University of the West Indies, and which is headed by Professor Anselm Hennis, is following up a previous four-year study on diabetic amputations with a new five-year investigation. The study is headed by Professor Clive Landis of the Edwin Cohen Laboratory for Vascular Research, a unit within the CDRC.
